Job Title: IoT Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IoT Engineer to join our 3PL (third-party logistics) company to help us develop and implement cutting-edge IoT solutions for our logistics operations. As an IoT Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IoT solutions that will help us improve our supply chain visibility, optimize our logistics operations, and enhance our customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement IoT solutions to improve our supply chain visibility, optimize logistics operations and enhance customer experience.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop IoT solutions that align with the company's strategy.
• Develop, test, and deploy IoT hardware and software systems and ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to integrate IoT solutions into our logistics operations.
• Conduct regular assessments of the IoT systems and identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to optimize their performance and reliability.
• Stay up to date with the latest IoT trends, technologies, and best practices, and provide thought leadership on how to apply them to our logistics operations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, developing and implementing IoT solutions.
• Experience with IoT hardware, software, and communication protocols.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, or C .
• Experience with data analytics, machine learning, and cloud computing.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is a plus.
